We spoke with the multi-talented, spiritual Anna in Los Angeles' west about Joshua Tree's Integratron, star gazing and a strong sense of connection through faith. We are excited to see what is next for this Aussie beauty!
What brought you to LA?
Acting, which then evolved into also directing and producing.
If you weren't acting, directing and producing, what would you be doing?
That’s hard to say, but I could definitely imagine myself taking on a career in a meditation type of business that uses music and sound as a healing modality. Something like the Integratron in Joshua tree would be heaven!
What gives you hope?
I try not to hope for much, but rather have faith in my life, because this feels stronger to me. Having faith means that I am accountable for really aligning myself and my mind with my visions, which feels more confident than hoping for something - Although, I am human and sometimes I have moments of doubt. I find having faith gives me a stronger sense of connection to the universe, or god, whatever you like to call it, and with my inner callings.
What was the last show you binge watched?
"I could definitely imagine myself taking on a career in a meditation type of business that uses music and sound as a healing modality. Something like the integration in Joshua tree would be heaven!"
Who do you look up to in the industry?
I love Olivia Wilde. She is constantly up to either acting on and/or directing, and producing awesome films and music videos. She’s a good sign post for what I am creating in my life and what I aspire to.
What is something people don't know about you, but you wish they did?
I used to think I was going to be an Astronomer when I was a kid. It was my first big dream, and even though I didn’t end up perusing it, I am definitely still a star gazer!
What can people expect from you in 2020?
There are a couple of pretty cool films I’m working on, playing some very versatile and interesting roles, of which I’m also producing. I’m pretty stoked and looking forward to 2020!
